Refund Policy

1. Overview
AskJibu is committed to fair and transparent billing. This Refund Policy describes when you are eligible for a refund, how to request one, and what to expect during the process.
By subscribing to a paid AskJibu plan, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. This policy applies to all paid subscription plans offered at askjibu.com.
2. Free Plan
The AskJibu Free plan has no charge. There is nothing to refund on the Free plan. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time without any financial obligation.
3. Paid Plan Cancellations
Paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro, and Enterprise) are billed on a monthly or annual cycle.
Monthly subscriptions
You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until the period ends — no pro-rata refund is issued for the unused days within an already-paid month.
Annual subscriptions
If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase (or renewal), you are entitled to a full refund of the annual fee, provided you have not materially used the plan (see Section 7 — Exceptions).
Cancellations made after the 14-day window on an annual plan are not eligible for a pro-rata refund for the remainder of the year. You retain access until the annual period ends.
4. Refund Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund in the following situations:
- You were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong plan billed)
- You cancelled an annual plan within 14 days of purchase or renewal
- A service outage of more than 24 consecutive hours affected your account
- A technical fault on our side prevented you from using core features of your plan
Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We aim to be fair and reasonable in all circumstances.
5. How to Request a Refund

- Your account email address
- The date of the charge
- The amount charged
- A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 5 business days.
6. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 3–5 additional business days after we initiate the refund.
7. Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- Significant usage: If more than 20% of a monthly or annual plan’s conversation quota has been consumed, a refund will not be granted for that billing period.
- Violation of Terms: Accounts suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service are not eligible for a refund.
- Downgrade requests: Downgrading from a higher plan to a lower plan does not entitle you to a refund of the price difference for the current billing period.
- Currency or bank fees: Any bank or currency conversion fees incurred at the time of payment are not refundable by AskJibu.
- Third-party integrations: Costs incurred through third-party services connected to AskJibu (e.g., marketplace listing fees) are governed by those services’ own refund policies.
